At the Kuching Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Department, we offer a range of clinic services designed to ensure timely, personalized care for patients requiring both reconstructive and aesthetic surgical consultations.
Our outpatient clinics operate on scheduled days each week, and are staffed by experienced plastic surgeons and medical officers who provide thorough assessments, treatment planning, post-operative follow-ups, and ongoing care.
Types of Cases we manage:
General Plastic Surgery
For initial evaluations, follow-up care, and management of a wide variety of conditions including congenital anomalies, skin lesions, scars, wound care and etc.
Reconstructive Surgery
Focused on post-cancer reconstruction (e.g. breast, head and neck), post-trauma reconstruction, post-burn secondary reconstruction, and complex wound management.
Burns
Dedicated to both acute and chronic burn care, including scar assessment and rehabilitation. Triamcinolone injection for keloid scar treatment
Arteriovenous Fistula/ Haemodialysis Access
Focuses on the surgical creation and maintenance of AV fistulas for patients undergoing hemodialysis. The clinic offers pre-operative evaluation, surgical planning, post-operative monitoring, and management of fistula complications, working closely with nephrology and dialysis teams to ensure optimal vascular access outcomes.
Aesthetic Consultation
For patients interested in elective cosmetic procedures such as rhinoplasty, eyelid surgery, and body contouring. Consultations are confidential, informative, and tailored to individual needs.
Appointments & Referrals:
Consultations are available by appointment only. Patients may be referred through government health clinics, general practitioners, or other specialist departments. A referral letter or discharge summary is typically required for first-time visit.
